Taylor University - Silent Night Game

1846 S Main St, Upland, IN 46989

Event Date - December 8, 2023 at 6:00 pm

A tradition started in 1997 by students attending games in pajamas dating back to the late 1980s, Taylor fans remain silent until the 10th point is scored before rushing the court and momentarily stopping the game. No technical foul is given for the 10th-point celebration, as a media timeout is issued immediately after Taylor scores its 10th point. Students then sing Silent Night in unison to end the game. Silent Night is always scheduled for the last game before finals.

Limited seating with most reserved for participating students means this event is usually not open to the public, but is available to be experienced online using the button below.

Taylor University is an interdenominational liberal arts university of evangelical faith located in Upland, Indiana, that competes in the NAIA as a member of the Crossroads League.
