Too often I don't take full advantage of what is right outside my back door. We had the opportunity to be in downtown Indy on the canal on what turned out to be a beautiful Saturday morning and enjoyed every minute of it!
We spent a little bit of time walking around the canal.
Once we saw the paddle boats there was no turning back for our five year old. And we gave in!
I have to admit it was very relaxing paddling down the canal and I wondered why we don't do this more often.
We even had a chance to visit the 9/11 Memorial as well.
If we had time I would have visited Indiana History Center, but as always I have another reason to visit again!
