Good vibes meet you at The Whisk in downtown Greencastle.

Joel and LaToshia Everson

Tosh & Joel Everson grew up in Greencastle and considered moving away. They soon thought, “Why not create what we’re looking for right here!”

The Eversons gave birth to The Whisk in 2022. They’ve crafted a destination for relaxing, unplugging and enjoying community. “The people are part of the recipe,” says Joel.

The Eversons soon opened The Bodega, a grab-and-go market. House-made breakfast and lunch sandos, salads, locally sourced items, coffee and more provide good eats and more good vibes. Pair the food delights with Haley’s warm welcome for a delicious start to the day.

Steve’s Teas

Tuesday at The Bodega is Steve’s Teas day. Local jazz musician Steve Snyder prepares and serves fresh, deliciously delightful Boba Tea. Why boba tea? “My enjoyment started 25 years ago in Taiwan. There wasn’t anything here,” Snyder says. “I wanted quality, organic, homemade, delicious.”

Snyder’s sons (ages 15 and 11) sometimes help serve. “I want to show my boys you can go do something if you want.”
