While in Southern Indiana a few weeks ago I had a chance to stop by Spring Mill State Park. One word - beautiful!
It certainly helped that it was a perfect weather day, but it doesn't get much better than this.
My daughter and I began our visit at Spring Mill Inn. 
While we didn't stay there, we did enjoy their Sunday buffet.
Then, we spent the afternoon exploring the grounds of the park. Our favorite place was the Pioneer Village. Open daily May - Mid-October the village contains 20 historic buildings to explore including a 3-story limestone gristmill that still grinds cornmeal today.
Overall it was a beautiful day spent enjoying one of the state's most beautiful parks - Spring Mill.
