Winterval ... What a lovely word that immediately makes me interested to know more! It is exactly what you might guess it means - a combination of winter and a festival and Downtown Fort Wayne has it.
On Saturday, January 30, downtown will hold its 4th annual Winterval with a day full of indoor and outdoor fun for the whole family.
From 1-4pm the Community Center will hold a FREE winter carnival complete with horse and carriage rides, games, crafts and yummy treats.
The Botanical Conservatory will hold activities from 10am-3pm that include crafting a winter bird feeder.
Other locations will have events and be providing discounts including:
- Allen County Public Library
- Science Central
- History Center
- The Old Fort
- Pint & Slice
- Headwaters Ice Arena
