Military Locations IN North Central Indiana
North Central Indiana is the home of Notre Dame University, Amish country, and unique military locations. Among these many unique military locations is the Military Honor Park, which honors all five branches of the military of all wars, living or deceased.
The Military Honor Park is said to honor veterans of the Michiana area with displays that include airplanes, tanks, weaponry, uniforms, and small artifacts. It has an outdoor park and an indoor museum, which displays memorabilia for guests to view, learn about, and be inspired by.
The Military Honor Park is not the only thing that North Central Indiana has to offer, though. You can also see the Normain Heights Subdivision, which was created to house returning veterans during the housing crisis in World War II, and Battell Park, which has two monuments honoring soldiers of the Civil War and World War I. There is so much to find in North Central Indiana!
