IDDC operates as a joint public-private agency, governed by a six-member board appointed by the governor. Sec. David J. Adams serves as the chair of the board.

The Indiana Destination Development Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit supporting organization of the Indiana Destination Development Corporation. The Foundation is organized and will be operated exclusively for purposes of the Indiana Destination Development Corporation.
Along with the six IDDC board members, an additional six members will make up IDDC's Foundation Board. The board members are:
