Turkey Run State Park
One of the great things about hiking at Turkey Run is that all the trails take you through ravine streambeds. The most rugged trail includes ladders, but there are also easy and moderate trails for a more relaxed adventure. No matter the trail, the views are magnificent.

Clifty Falls State Park
The waterfalls in Clifty Falls State Park change moods with the season, so you’ll want to make more than one trip there to catch them at different levels of force. After a day of hiking, you can take in the beautiful views high above the Ohio River when you stay at the Clifty Falls Inn.

Brown County State Park
Your indoor fitness equipment will be just a distant memory when you’re pedaling through Brown County State Park. Get ready for berms, steep switchbacks, trees, rock gardens and breathtaking views. No wonder it’s one of only 33 trails in the whole country named a Hall of Fame Epic Ride by the International Mountain Biking Association.

Monroe Lake
There’s nothing like a day on the water, whether you’re paddling yourself in a kayak or speeding along in a ski boat. Better yet—stay for a few days so you can try it all!

Cataract Falls at Lieber State Recreation Area
Voted the state’s #1 waterfall, Cataract Falls provides a beautiful backdrop for your hiking selfies. In addition to hiking, you can boat on Cagles Mill Lake or play in the state-of-the-art aquatic center.
