New Arts and Culture Passport is a great reason to explore Indiana!
Exploring Indiana’s wealth of art attractions and cultural offerings just got even more fun.
The new Indiana Arts & Culture digital passport allows users to earn prizes when displayed at more than 200 participating locations across the state, from the Indiana Dunes to Madison and Terre Haute to Richmond. “From music venues and theaters to museums and more, communities across Indiana are using art as a way to come together and build a sense of identity,” says Indiana Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch. “All of these places reflect the values of residents and help build a sense of identity for those who live there and visitors alike.”
The passport is easy to access and use. Simply sign up online, then check in using a smartphone each time you visit any one of the designated passport locations. The more destinations you visit, the more prizes you can earn. After checking in at any 15 locations, passport holders get a sketchbook; 30 check-ins snag you a tote bag, and those who achieve 100 check-ins will receive a creative customized item from an Indiana artist. Prizes are available while supplies last.
Destinations include everything from art museums, galleries, music venues, and cultural districts to public art installations, historical sites, and theatres. It’s the perfect excuse to revisit some of your favorite Indiana attractions, or discover a few new ones. And, it’s an additional incentive to check in to places you might already be planning to visit anyway.
