Amish Country in Northern Indiana is a place I visit frequently and has become a reunion of sorts for my family. Flea market, fried chicken and friends is what I equate with the area, but now I have something new ... fashion!
I have been to Essenhaus many times, but had never had the opportunity to attend one of their fashion shows. It was a new venture to me and one I may just have to do again! Learn about the Essenhaus Fall Fashion Show here.
First of all, they featured about 40 outfits, all from the stores on property and highlighted home decor as well. Everything could be purchased afterwards - with a 10% discount!
In between the fashion show was food ... and not just any food, but the food Essenhaus is known for: friend chicken, mashed potatoes and pie ...
We topped it all off with staying at the inn. A great room and a great breakfast buffet ...
Oh, and I got to tour the kitchen. A behind the scenes view of all that makes Essenhaus succesful.
Now to make it back for the grand opening of their bakery!
