Daffodil Stroll on Historic 4th Street

When: April 4-5 | Where: Historic 4th Street, Huntingburg, IN

The Daffodil Stroll, a cherished tradition celebrating the arrival of spring, showcases the best of Huntingburg’s local businesses. Merchants extend their hours & present new spring merchandise, décor & gift items. Planned for April 4-5, 4th Street is closed to traffic to offer live music on the street, igloo rentals for a fun experience with your friends & family, kids activities & much more!  

 

Rooted Art Market & Family Roots Nursery Workshops 

Family Roots is a one-stop shop for your home gardening needs. A visit to Family Roots Nursery allows guests to participate in seasonal workshops, offering a hands-on way to embrace the spring spirit. Family Roots also hosts The Rooted Art Market planned for Saturday, April 5th featuring a variety of artisan vendors & food trucks in addition to their abundance of greenhouse space overflowing with spring flowers & gardening items.

Garden Gate Jazz, Wine & Craft Beer Festival

When: April 26 | Where: Huntingburg, IN

Set in the charming Market Street Park in downtown Huntingburg, this annual festival is a true highlight of the season. Featuring live jazz performances, wine tastings from regional wineries, and a selection of craft beers from local breweries, the Garden Gate Festival is a feast for the senses. Food trucks and vendors round out the experience, making it a perfect event for music lovers and foodies alike. 

On the same day as Garden Gate, (Apr. 26) stroll Historic 4th Street as it is lined with classic cars, hot rods, trucks, & motorcycles for the annual Huntingburg Kiwanis Car Show. This beloved event brings together auto-lovers from across the region to enter their cars for judging while spectators can enjoy viewing the variety of restored vehicles.

Jasper Spring Events & Festivals 

The community's vibrant spirit shines through for the Jasper in Bloom season. The Downtown Chow Down kicks off on May 1 and is held on the first Thursday in the months of May – October at the Jasper Riverwalk. A local favorite, this reoccurring event features food trucks, live music, and family-friendly activities. It's an excellent opportunity to mingle with locals and savor regional flavors.  

 

Jasper Arts 50th Anniversary & Annual Chalk Walk

In 2025, Jasper Arts is celebrating its 50th anniversary, marking five decades of enriching the community with vibrant arts and cultural events. As part of the celebration, their beloved Chalk Walk will take place in May, transforming the streets into a colorful canvas. This family-friendly event invites artists of all ages to create stunning chalk masterpieces while enjoying live entertainment, food, and activities. Old Jasper Day & Strawberry Festival

When: May 18, 2025 | Where: Jasper, Indiana Riverwalk

The annual Old Jasper Day will be held down by the Train Depot on Sunday, May 18, 2025, featuring the Lion’s Club Strawberry Festival at the Jasper Riverwalk. Enjoy free horse-drawn wagon rides, face painting, live music, guided walking tours and more. 

 

NEW Ferdinand Spring Event 

Ferdinand is making plans to host a new spring event, Community in Bloom, on May 17th featuring food trucks, drink trucks & Facet’s Greenhouse Plant Truck! Also, be sure to participate in the merchant’s “Grow Your Garden” event where merchants will be offering free packets of seeds for vegetables and Fruits. Free kids’ activities & a special spring menu will be available at the Historic Wollenman Home on Main Street.
