Brown County State Park

Just inside the North Gate at Brown County State Park, children 7 years or older can ride horses at their stables! They even have pony rides and hayrides for fun for the whole family.

Fort Harrison State Park

Children 6 years or older can ride at Fort Harrison State Park! They offer guided trails of 1.5 or 2.5 miles or lessons where you can learn the ins and outs of horseback riding for just $30 per hour.

McCormick's Creek State Park

At McCormick's Creek, there are long trail rides for the older ones, pony rides for the little ones, and hayrides for everyone! Reservations are recommended.

Pokagon State Park

If you're at least 8 years old and 52'' tall, you'll love riding at Pokagon State Park! While reservations are not required, they are recommended to make sure you can saddle up and ride.

Open: Memorial Day-Labor Day daily

Labor Day - October 30 weekends only

Hours: 9 am - 6 pm daily

9 am - 5 pm weekends only

Turkey Run State Park

Turkey Run isn't just hiking! Explore this Indiana State Park on horseback. Make a reservation for anyone 8 years or older.

Whether you want a short trot or a long ride, Whitewater Memorial State Park has got you covered with guided horse rides of all lengths!

Natural Valley Ranch

With guided rides along the banks of White Lick Creek, anyone 4 years or older can ride at Natural Valley Ranch by reservation! Make sure you wear close-toed shoes to enjoy your adventure.

K-Trails

Just east of Cicero and north of Noblesville at Strawtown Koteewi Park is where you'll find Hamilton County's K Trails Equestrian Adventures! Anyone 7 years or older can ride, and the barn offers learning experiences for all ages. Catch a sunset ride if you can for a spectacular evening view on horseback!

The Stables at French Lick Resort

Among all there is to do in French Lick, there's also horseback riding! Anyone 8 years or older can ride the creatures on the scenic trails bordering Hoosier National Forest.
