Back to Top of ListPokagon State Park, nestled on the shores of Lake James, is a picturesque 1,260-acre park nestled in extreme northeast Indiana complete with hiking trails, beaches, an interpretive nature center, the state’s only refrigerated toboggan run, boat rentals and guided horse rides.
Trine State Recreation Area, adjacent to Pokagon State Park, provides nearly 200 acres of rolling, wooded hills, open meadows, unique wetlands and a kettle lake.
Wild Winds has more than 400 acres of rolling Indiana prairie, natural waterways, lakes, birds and is home to approximately 250 bison. Tours are available via open-air vehicle.
