Peacetime IN Indiana

While America has been at war for 228 out of 245 years of its life, peace has been something that Hoosiers have learned to treasure and respect. Yet, there are many people who serve this great country, even during peacetime. When there is not a war going on, it can be easy to forget that this country still needs to be defended from its enemies, and there are many brave soldiers willing to defend the freedom and peace we've come to cherish.

Through the many military locations throughout the state, you can see that Hoosiers do not rest during times of peace. We recognize those who serve, even when it is not the popular or easy thing to do. Their courage, dedication, and bravery are not forgotten, and in Indiana, we honor them for their service.
