New Castle Fieldhouse

New Castle Fieldhouse is still the largest high school gymnasium in the county. With a capacity of 8,424, the home of the Trojans is a mainstay on the Indiana High School tournament schedule for both girls and boys. The parquet wooden floor is sunken 25 feet below the ground and is surrounded by 24 rows of wooden bleachers, forming an octagonal shape around the basketball court. This gym sits conveniently adjacent to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.
