Warning About Visiting Active High Schools

When planning to visit any Indiana high school gymnasium, please contact the athletic department first to identify an appropriate day and time.  Most schools are not open to the general public during school hours.  Consider buying a ticket to a girls' or boys' game, see the gym and some great high school basketball.

Springs Valley High School Gym Lobby

326 S Larry Bird Blvd, French Lick, IN 47432

While not one of the largest gyms in the state, the Springs Valley High School gym has a lot of history.  Opening in 1957, it would be one special student-athlete that would bring Springs Valley to national notoriety. Home to Larry Bird, the gym saw a packed house for almost every home game during Bird's time there.
